Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Human Resources
Location: Lenexa, KS

Summary

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. The HR Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and improving the Human Resources systems and platforms that Basys uses to manage everyday activities. This position will assist in identifying best practices and organizational efficiencies, as well as help to apply and maintain policies and programs within the unit.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, UKG, which may include maintenance of integrations, cases, processes, onboarding, and more.
  • Programs and customizes performance and survey platforms, including creating and issuing surveys and maintaining technology standards.
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for errors within all HR related platforms.
  • Recommend methods for enhanced efficiency, productivity and delivery of achievement of HR tactical goals through related programs.
  • Assists in regular audits to processes, handbooks, SOPs, and other HR functions.
  • Oversees and maintains department usage of the SharePoint platform, including standardization and enforcement of standards, and assist in company management of SharePoint.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to create policies and standards that improve the quality of our documentation and record keeping.
  • Serve on teams for medium sized projects of moderate complexity and impact and vendor communication.
  • Assist with HR related legislation and policies with oversight from HR management and Legal.
  • Gather, analyze, and report on data to assist in creating solutions that benefit the company.
  • Develop knowledge in other HR business functions (benefits, HRIS, training, compensation, wellness, strategy).
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and business partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP or other related certification a plus
  • A minimum of 2-years experience functioning within an HR Department capacity or related discipline
  • Experience in an HRIS platform, preferably UKG.
  • Strong Communication Skills Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
